This is not the same old casino night. Our glamorous event will step out of the stale bingo hall and into the stunning showroom of Crevier Classic Cars, where our professional gaming tables and card dealers will be surrounded by gorgeous rare classic and exotic cars.
We will be hosting a “split the pot” poker tournament where the winner will share the pot with our designated charities. For those that don’t have a good poker face, we will have additional gaming tables including blackjack, craps and roulette. If you are not one for gaming, you are still welcome to partake in cocktails and appetizers while you mingle and tour the shining automobile collection.
We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.
Times are tough and educational budgets are tight. Everyday teachers dig into their own pockets to pay for the supplies necessary to help young minds grow. As law students we understand how crucial a quality education is to building a bright future. With a portion of the proceeds of this event, we want to help as many classrooms as we can through an innovative organization called DonorsChoose.org.
Public school teachers from every corner of America post classroom project requests on their site, and individuals can give any amount to the project that most inspires them. We plan to use the majority of our proceeds from our Casino Night and Poker Tournament to fully fund as many requests from local teachers as we can.
"A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

Whittier Law School students are passionate about making positive changes in the world around us. We are active in causes that are as diverse as our student body. These causes include, but are not limited to, children’s rights, civil liberties, environmental preservation, animal protection, and health related causes.
To aid our student-run campus organizations in their philanthropic efforts, a small portion of our proceeds will be awarded as a grant to the Whittier Law School Student Organization that has shown the greatest commitment to philanthropy throughout the 2012-2013 school year. Our hope is that this award will allow our student body to continue to make positive changes in our community.
In order to meet our charitable goals, we need your help. While we will happily accept anything you are able to give, we are especially in need of patrons who will sponsor our gaming tables. Please note that not only is your generosity appreciated, but it is tax deductible as well.
